The Free App Foursquare new feaure - Foursquare Ads
The platform is now open up to advertisers of all sizes, with an audience of over 40 million users worldwide.This news follows on, since it opened the platform to a limited number of advertisers around nine months ago. Since then, in July 2013, it started a self-serve version of that platform to selected small businesses.
From now on, any business regardless of its size can go to Foursquare ads dashboard and able to create custom promotions, based on how many people visit their business and subsequently the advertising charges by Foursquare will be based on this specific analysis metric.
Also a new location for business advertising is situated on the home screen of the app, in the form of “recommendation cards that show up” when you log on to the app. This is not something new in digital marketing as many other less known small apps already use this technology to increase their revenue with smart marketing awareness features.
